Firstly, let me start by telling you a bit about myself. My name’s Kris, I’m a hairdresser from a town called Northwich in Cheshire. I started off working as a junior for a small company called Brewsters straight from school where I soon realised I had a flair for hair!

I had a great tutor who taught me all I needed to know and helped me gain the confidence to blossom into the hairdresser I am today. After 4 years with Brewsters I felt the bright lights of the city calling and I packed up my scissors and moved to Manchester where I got a great job with a big, well named American company. They showed me a different side to hairdressing, the more commercial, edgy side, as well as doing my day to day clients I could also get involved with fashion shows and photo shoots, even meeting a few members of the Corrie cast along the way.

A Great Salon Experience

Now, after 12 years in the business I’ve decided its time to go it alone and start the next chapter in my life, my own salon. With the support of my friends and family I have recently relocated to Barrow-in-Furness and from the people I’ve met so far I think I’m going to like it here. I do however feel that it would be a good idea to widen my network of friends and potential clients.

I’ll be using my website as well as my facebook page to keep you all posted on how things are developing. I’ll be posting pictures of the salon on facebook and this website as it develops from empty unit to fully fitted salon. I will be promoting special one day discounts to those people who add me as friends on Facebook and subscribe to my status updates via sms.

With extremely competitive prices and that cheeky discount I am offering to my Facebook friends (available to all clients but unless you are subscribed to my facebook status updates via sms you may well miss out) you could be leaving my salon with a wicked new hairstyle at an even more wicked price. As the business grows I will be introducing additional services and extra incentives for both new and old clients. I believe in giving something back to those who use my services. From day 1 I’ll be giving my guests a loyalty card which means I’ll be giving you lots of goodies in return for your loyalty such as free cuts/products etc.

We have been working hard behind the scenes in the run up to our launch date. We aim to give each of our clients something back for all their loyalty. Not only could you leave our salon turning heads with your new haircut but you could also be leaving with a little Thank You Gift from us.

After our first few months of trading and working to a level where the business is sustaining itself then we are hoping to introduce our own loyalty scheme and we have been looking into ways that we can make each and every one of you know that we really appreciate your support.

In the last couple of weeks of trading I have met so many really lovely people who have all been a pleasure to work on. This is a family business and we all have a desire to give the best possible customer service but we want to take it a step further.

When we launch the loyalty scheme it will most likely be June. For each and every client that visits us, we will give you your own personal loyalty card. At the end of each visit youll get your loyalty stamp, meaning the more you visit, the closer youll get to the goodies we give away.
