Robert and Valerie welcome you to Sefton House.
Sefton House is a clean and comfortable family run Georgian guest house, centrally located in the traditional market town of Ulverston, which is on the Furness Peninsular, only 20 minutes drive from Coniston and Windermere in the heart of south Lakeland.
For the energetic, Ulverston is at the start of the Cumbria Way, on the Cumbria Coastal Way and the Walney to Wear Cycle Route. Ulverston is also the birthplace of Stan Laurel (of Laurel & Hardy fame) and houses a museum devoted to them.
At Sefton House we offer medium priced accommodation. Most rooms have en-suite bathrooms and all rooms have tea and coffee making facilities and a colour TV. The guest house is non-smoking and secure garaging for bicycles is available.
Our wonderful breakfasts are freshly prepared using locally grown, organic and Fairtrade® ingredients, and we cater for special diets with advance notice. There are numerous restaurants and pubs serving evening meals within 2 minutes walk. Packed lunches are available for walkers if booked in advance.
Sefton House is also the home of Natterjacks,
the South Lakes only night-time coffee house and art gallery.
